Biaggi Zipsak Softsided Luggage

His View

When we booked our yacht trip to Fiji, they recommended using soft sided collapsible luggage due to the extremely limited space on the boat.  When we read that the only thing we’d ever really owned in that category was a duffel bag we went to Amazon and did a quick search. The Biaggi was right at the top of our search results.

To be honest, we had not heard of the company before, however the owner was on Shark Tank and made a deal with Lori Greiner.  Since she seems to have a knack for picking good products to partner with, we decided to give it a try. We ordered a “Zipsack Boost! Expandable Bag” in blue.  This bag 22” bag can unzip and expand to 28” so it seemed very versatile. Instead of an expandable metal handle like most modern suitcases, the top has two strong straps than can be snapped together for convenience when rolling.

When we received the bag it came folded it the approximate size of a legal sheet of paper about 5 inches thick.  We unzipped and unfolded the bag, and we were absolutely amazed! I could not believe something that stored into the size of a ladies handbag could expand into a 28” 360° spinner suitcase. So we took the suitcase and did a “test pack”.  It was truly incredible the amount of clothes we were able top pack and ended up stopping at about half full.

We ended up ordering a second “Biaggi Micro Fold 27” Bag” in purple. When packing the bags, I’d recommend putting larger and heavier stuff in the bottom.  I was really impressed with how stable the bags are when fully packed. I was so glad we had the Biaggi’s on the boat because were able to store them easily in our stateroom in their compact form.  These are really awesome bags.

I will be honest, on the way back from Fiji we had a plane change in San Francisco.  We had to hoof it a long way, and the spinner wheels on the bags are awesome, but when tilting and dragging behind you is not as easy as a rigid suitcase if you're walking a long way.  That said, we do not regret the purchase and the benefits outweigh this one small thing. I would highly recommend them if you have limited storage space, or just want something that can be easily stored.

So there you have it, in summary, the Biaggi bags are awesome. We highly recommend it as your next luggage purchase.  We’ve included links to the specific bags we purchased. I firmly believe you won’t regret it if you buy one.
