We traveled back up to Cottonwood so that we could visit with the outlying vineyards, one such vineyard is Alcantra Vineyards. Alcantara Vineyards and Winery is actually on your way to Cottonwood and is one of the coolest places to have a glass of wine.

Burning Tree Cellars, Cottonwood AZ
We ended our Verde Valley experience with the Burning Tree Cellars Tasting Room. Burning Tree specializes in small batch boutique wines. You won’t see their wines in a grocery store or anywhere else. You can only purchase them in the tasting rooms or the vineyard. They offer single varietals and blends.

The Pillsbury Wine Company Tasting Room is located in Old Town Cottonwood among the other five tasting rooms in Old Town. Pillsbury has a great venue, even though I think the bar is a tad too small.
