Today we are featuring Passion Cellars Tasting Room. Passion Cellars is a label from Salvatore. If you remember we talked about Salvatore on Day 5 and explained that they have their reserve label of Salvatore, the Passion label and the Cabal Label.
The Passion Tasting room is not too far from, well, anything in Jerome to be honest. The only challenge is it (and they tell you at the bottom of the stairs) is 17 steps up to the tasting room. Steep steps, I will add. But once you get up there, it is really nice. They have, not only, the inside tasting room, but a nice little section outside as well. It was too hot on the day we were there, so we went inside to sample the wines.
It is not the first time we have had Passion wines and I just don’t find them to be spectacular. Their pricing on their Passion Cellars label is average for Arizona wines. We did purchase a bottle of the 2016 Day Tripper, but more because Derek liked it more than I. We are buying a lot of wines this month, and there are others we have liked better.
The gals working the room were both fun and chatty, so we were able to make good conversation with them. Since we have reviewed both the Salvatore and the Cabal, I am not sure if there is much else we can tell you about the wines. Nothing that would blow my mind, but all good enough for a sample. If you disagree, please comment below as we’d love to hear your take.
